<p>I have suspected this for a while frankly, with many of my peers, colleagues and friends though being connected to multiple networks, applications and even devices at any one point, struggle to perform a simple task like picking up a call when their phone starts to ring.</p>
<p>As a network marketer using pay per click as a lead generator I have noticed that more than half of the calls I make to my leads now go to voice mail. This is a another bullet in the chamber that is fueling mobile text message marketing. Mobile text media is a wave that has already broke and there is no stopping it. So wax up your smart phone, paddle out and ride the wave.</p>
<h3><a href="http://www.iziggteam.net">PHONE CALLS ARE BECOMING AN ENDANGERED SPECIES</a>:</h3>

<p>Jane Beard and Jeffrey Davis didn’t realize how little they speak to  their children by phone until they called AT&amp;T to switch plans. The  customer service agent was breathless. The Silver Spring, Md., couple  had accumulated 28,700 unused minutes.   “None of the kids call us back!  They will not call you back,” said Beard, a former actress who with her  husband coaches business leaders on public speaking.  E-mail and  texting have driven the telephone conversation into serious decline,  creating new tensions between baby boomers and millennials — those in  their teens, 20s and early 30s.</p>
<p>Nearly all age groups are talking on the phone less; boomers in their  mid-50s and early 60s are the only ones still yakking as they did when  Ma Bell was America’s communications queen. But the fall of the call is  driven by 18- to 34-year-olds, whose average monthly voice minutes have  plunged from about 1,200 to 900 in the past two years, according to  research by Nielsen. Texting among 18- to 24-year-olds has more than  doubled in the same period, from an average of 600 messages a month two  years ago to more than 1,400 texts a month.</p>
<p>Young people say they avoid voice calls because the immediacy of a  phone call strips them of the control they have over the arguably  less-intimate pleasures of texting, e-mailing, Facebooking or tweeting.  They even say phone calls are by their nature impolite, more of an  interruption than the blip of an arriving text.  Kevin Loker, 20, a  rising junior at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., said he and  his school friends rarely just call someone for fear of being seen as  rude or intrusive. First, they text to make an appointment to talk.  “They’ll write, ‘Can I call you at such-and-such time?’” said Loker,  executive editor of Connect2Mason.com, a student media site. “People  want to be polite. I feel like, in general, people my age are not as  quick on their feet to just talk on the phone.”</p>
<p>Deborah Tannen, a linguistics professor at Georgetown University who  studies how people converse in everyday life, said older generations  misinterpret the way younger people use their cellphones. “One student  told me that it takes her days to call her parents back and the parents  thought she was intentionally putting them off,” she said. “But the  parents didn’t get it. It’s the medium. With e-mails, you’re at the  computer, writing a paper. With phone calls, it’s a dedicated block of  time.”</p>
<p>Ethan Seidel, rabbi of Tifereth Israel synagogue in Washington, D.C.,  can’t get many of his congregants younger than 35 on the telephone.  Seidel, 52, often invites young new members to his family’s home for  welcome dinners, but his gesture too often doesn’t even merit return  calls. “One member seemed only slightly apologetic for not returning the  call,” Seidel said. “I was floored by that. They say, ‘I never answer  the phone anymore.’”</p>
<p>People are not only making fewer calls but also having shorter  conversations when they do call. The average length of a cellphone call  has dropped from 2.38 minutes in 1993 to 1.81 minutes in 2009, according  to industry data.  Land lines are disappearing. Verizon, the nation’s  second-largest land line carrier, behind AT&amp;T, says its hard-wired  phone connections have dropped from 50 million in 2005 to 31 million  this year.</p></blockquote>

<p>As you may know, I just got back from a lonnnnggg weekend of hosting the first ever No Excuses Summit a few weeks ago, where we had some of our industry‘s top leaders take the stage in from of ~900 entrepreneurs like yourself.</p>
<p>The event featured leaders like Mike Dillard, Brian Fanale, Tim Erway, Todd Falcone, just to name a few… Heck, even Jay Kubassek and Aaron Parkinson made appearances on stage as special guests.</p>

<p>The feedback has been overwhelming – people loved it. They loved being surrounded by other like minded individuals and also mingling with all the leaders.</p>
<p>On more than one occasion I got cornered by someone asking me what opportunity I recommend.</p>
<p>Well, I figured this is about just as good of a time as any to let these folks (and you) know what I’ve been up to.<br />
<em><strong><span style="color: #000080;">I am VERY Picky</span></strong></em></p>
<p>As you’ve read on my website (which is obviously under construction) and throughout my newsletters, you can appreciate the fact that after having gone around the ol’ MLM block a few times, I look for very specific traits of companies before deciding on one.</p>
<p>When I caught wind of this company, I had to check it out for myself…</p>
<p><strong>The things I were immediately looking for were:</strong></p>
<p>1. Barrier to entry – is it at a price point that folks who are not necessarily wealthy can get in?<br />
2. Product – is it something tangible that folks desire and want without gouging the consumers?<br />
3. Marketing – does it allow its distributors to market online?<br />
4. Compensation plan – is it fair?  Hell… does it PAY WELL?<br />
5. Leadership – is it a company in good standings with good leaders at the top?</p>
<p>What I found delighted me.  I don’t want to go too much into it but I’ll break this down very easily.<br />
<strong>Breakdown:</strong></p>
<p>Barrier to entry: It’s relatively “cheap” to get started while still having the capability to filter out the “looky-loos”.</p>
<p>Products: All the hype nowadays is about gold and silver and guess what Numis promotes?  Gold and silver!  The products they sell have been proven time and time again that they are desirable in our market, that they hold their value (actually they INCREASE in their value) and that they are wise investments.  What this tells me is that anybody who joins Numis, whether they wish to promote this opportunity or not, comes out ahead – we ALL win because at the end of the day, the money we put into Numis comes back to us and then some.</p>
<p>Marketing: Simply put… yes, it allows and even encourages internet marketing.  And I am well on my way to SEO the s**t out of this and build out my own sales funnel ^^  Need I say more?</p>
<p>Compensation plan: Sick, just plain sick.  There are so many ways to make money it’s kind of ridiculous.</p>
<p>Leadership: Not only are the folks on the board respectable (heck one of the guys running this thing, Mike Mezack, is one of the top leaders in the field of gold and silver), but if you look at the distributors, there are some heavy hitters from my own circle of internet network marketers.  That’s credibility YO <img src='http://johnrothstein.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p>My first public announcement of this business opportunity I got involved in a few months ago.  I am looking forward to building out some sick (and I mean SICK) online sales machine for this (and with Jim Yaghi and David Schwind along with having direct access to the top earner of the company AND the founders, this will be a cake-walk).</p>

<p>If you’re a small business and you’ve made the commitment to going green this year, then you’ve likely run into this not-so-small obstacle with your marketing strategy: how to go green despite the need for new business traditionally derived through direct mailings and locally run advertisements.</p>
